Dearly Beloved,
Today one offers another message of Atonement. It's something one has spoken of in the past. It pertains to something one is working on and some of you are working on to some extent. It's pertinent to all living the spiritual life in The School of the Undivided Will. It's key to a full surrender and effortless living of The Great Way, leading to The Face of Christ, and The Great Peace of the Kingdom. Its teaching and practice bring the constancy of real vision, an identity of The Invulnerable Light of Eternal Innocence, which is constant ever-increasing joy or Heaven on earth. My family, forgiveness is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. I love you!
Today one discusses realizing the shared Voice, Mind, and Will, under one Self. Today one discusses the addiction to talking and moving the body from self-will. This part of the disease of ego many in today’s world don’t study, whom one is not among today as we join as one. How beautiful one’s realized mind is to attract this letter. The totality of the brotherhood of abstraction, the royal family of the Son of God and one's Father, are proud of you, as always.
Perhaps today one can see a truth spoken by Christian Mystic Father De Mellow, that said “Your life is in a mess and you don’t want to get out of it.”, as most doers, thinkers, and talkers live. One can have a different kind of life day today, if one resolves in right effort and listens to this message.
Perhaps today one will understand the Master Lao Tzu’s teaching of “wei wu wei” or doing not doing. The master said, “Those who talk don’t know. This is ignorance, not the openness of not knowing. Those who know don’t talk. They don’t talk for the sake of talking, or to prove something, or to display themselves. They talk only if it’s appropriate. One acts without expectation, succeeds without taking credit, and doesn’t think one is better than anyone else. Therefore, the wise go about doing nothing, teaching no talking. Doing not doing. The master does nothing, yet he leaves nothing undone. The ordinary man is always doing things, yet many more are left to be done. The more you know, the less you understand. Stop thinking and end your problems. Not knowing is true knowledge. First, realize that you are sick, then you can move toward health.”.
False-self speaking and doing is tied very closely to the addiction of self-centered thought, thinking about the past or the future, or thinking from the past about the now or the future and acting, because it is that, which is self-will or egoic thinking. Whether it be thinking, speech, or action, this ties to reminiscing or talking about the past, along with future tripping or fantasizing, which everybody, those who believe they are a body, does alone or with others all the time. Sick talking and doing is also a form of sick decision, otherwise stated as living from the false self full of sick ideas, because it is it the same thing as judgement by the ego or the me, which again is egoic thinking, as well as erroneous belief. It is the same thing as managing one’s own life or living in unmanageability, which is what it means to be vulnerable to suffering in any form and live in disorder or disarray. One could also call it self-directed thought or planning in the form of self-directed speech and doing. It takes place as the me tries to figure out what to say or do. The world is stuck in the disease of trying to figure things out, trying to understand, which is egoic thinking. One consults one’s sick mind occupied by past learnings, consulting the sickness of others, stuck in this thinking, trying to figure out if one should go right or left over and over again. What a torment it is to make decisions. Does one agree? Today are learning to live a life without them.
One will continue to make decisions and have the consequences of pain as long as one believes one has or wants to have a separate intelligence that can choose or select what is right for oneself or others, "the me and the not me", thank you Jiddu K. This is what pride is. The mind that says, "I know! I can choose the best course!", as it continuously justifies and rationalizes the use of intellect and unforgiving thoughts believing in the importance of the self, the body, the emotional thinker, and mature decision-maker. The body image self needs to be protected with self-initiated plans and blabbermouthary, trading sickness back and forth with the world everyday as talking heads. The frantic mind is honored as a wise person, conversationalist, public speaker, doctor or whatever, teaching others they're a body and that one can make decisions by oneself and be happy. Teaching that daily and learning that reinforces the body identity and separation from the Universal Mind of Harmonious Governance. Give and receive is the same my friends. Teaching is learning. Having rest on Being, not on getting. Better to just Be instead of trying to get.
One is always trying to make provision decisions to protect the false image of self from uncertainties in order keeping the oneself in prison. One chooses sickness daily to remain in a belief of weakness or darkness, believing the body is one's source of strength, instead of living from real strength and the Light of real vision as one’s true Self. Instead, one lives from the righteous false self, as a hunter and gatherer, always trying to “help” people and to give them good worldly advice. If one is “kind” one tries to fix or correct them, as if one can. Can one see the arrogance in this once and for all?
It's very important that one observes the talking addiction closely, the key to real empathy lies in it. Living in the principle of W.A.I.T. or why am I talking, is a great way to look at oneself, see motive, and see this addiction. Always wanting to talk over people to get something, to correct them, to stay fake, to prove something, running into other people's thoughts, getting the last word, and wanting to win an argument. One needs to talk less and listen more. To just be Still without judgment as Choiceless Awareness. Is one willing to let go of ones motives, step back, and be available to be a silent witness only, so one can learn and be healed? Just to remain quiet and stand as Awareness as One’s forgiving Self. Can one see that one doesn’t have to think about what to say or do. The egoic mind is going to fight this and whisper "You have to engage in thinking about this. You are emotional. You have to say something. YOU got this!" Who is this you and emotional thinking self?
As one investigates this phantom self, ideas or thoughts may be present in the mind. These are the same thoughts that move the body, getting one into all sorts of trouble and bumping into things. Be disinterested in them. They will try to suck into their sick pull. One can just observe they are there and watch them drop as one allows space for Another Way. It is the Way of Greatness, with its humbleness, reborn of humility, and extended from miracle forgiveness. It is real Knowing. As one gets better at letting go of judgment by oneself, overlooking the world, one will see no thought is for "you" to think about or say, as one learns to get the false self out of the way. One will find the non-doer in you who is holy cooperative. The Voice of the One will speak through you, as the real Self and the Will of the One will move you. One will be doing not doing and getting everything done, and one won’t be thinking about any of it. One will be looking and witness instead of thinking. Through the pureness of looking without judgement and detached form inference, the innocence of doing not doing takes place as insight, Right-speech, Right-action, correction, peace, joy, and love. This is the forgiveness of realization “I need do thing”.
One has found it to be a process of taking one’s will back and letting it go again. Another way of saying it is, one finds oneself in a grievance against God, believing “I’m a body” until one forgives, seeing beyond the body in a state of no needs, and finds the One Self again as Choiceless Awareness and Light, at one with world who is my Self. It is a process of seeing one is defending one’s self with judgment and planning, searching outside, accepting and rejecting, projecting guilt, separating cause and effect, making attacking real, trying to figure things out again propelled by fear, and then letting go of one’s shield and sword, grievance and vengeance, judgment and decision, fear and sin, to re-join the Will of Forgiveness, and back to being a conscious witness in co-creation, or better, miracle worker once again.
One has found when one is learning how to listen initially some Higher-Order thought may get through but without a willingness to utter it without any contamination, which is one’s own spin on it. One will still feel some rightness and say what one feels is right at the time, which is okay. At least one is willing to take Direction and learn to be a channel for the Voice and Will of the One we all share. One will be able to admit more promptly one’s shortcomings as one goes along and continues to bump into mind stuff. As the process commences one may find oneself in a surrendered state being moved by spiritual gravity. This pulling sensation carries one away in an effortless flow of flight until one is caught in body concerns or grievances again. The start of another tailspin, which is to say one has started egoic thinking again. The more one thinks the more one sinks. One is beginning to see the lie of false emotion, fear, or sense of lack with increasing clarity as more idols fall and wasted energy is redirected to inward looking for real freedom instead of outward looking for false freedom. Tripping and falling a lot is part of the process.
One can always pause and feel the quietness of a forgiving mind and rejoin the Will again. That's what willingness is. In our determination to surrender, for Thy Will be done, one sees there is no failure and suddenly realizes the Voice of the One has taking over the vocal cords as well as one’s actions again. Now One is singing, being danced, and the Music is playing the Band. Indeed, there is s Power that takes over the mind, speech, and body. This is being Self-centered in the right way. Don't be afraid to allow what needs to be said to be said and what needs to be done to be done. That is, don't be afraid to be one with Honesty and Love One Self. If one is afraid and finds one can't speak or move, one is afraid to love, refusing to forgive, living in inferences, starting to organize the present as one wishes, and refusing to change. The past is dictating the present and one is thinking one’s own mature thought is enough to dictate the present course or one simply doesn’t want to face the crisis of one’s life and heal. Trying to make the impossible possible and upset about it. One is stuck in doership and there will be pain. As long is there is a doer, a life manager, there is a "me" or "I" thought and thoughts will arise blocking meditation, prayer, and conscious contact or communion with Self. The doer with its owns plan of false power, in the illusion of control, makes change impossible.
One doesn’t really want control or false power. The price for power over others or the world is ones loses control over oneself. One wants real Control. As long as one is out of Control and wants to dictate one will experience dictatorship. Free-will means freedom not imprisonment. Willingness to join Oneness of Mind is freedom. One wants to place ones mind under true Authority, for only this is a fundamental change of mind. Under the Governance of Single-Mindedness we are free. One wants to be host to God, not hostage to the ego. If one is hostage to the ego that means one wants power or influence over others and needs to do something to get it and will manipulate, think, and do, as one loses One Self in self.
The only time one needs to do anything is to fulfill a lack, that's a grievance against the now, a blaming or projected guilt, a belief in sin, and addiction. When one needs do nothing, there's nothing to get, nothing to judge, and nothing to choose, you are therefore to fee to be Moved. There's nothing in it for you because there is no you. The you is not responsible for anything, one is free. One is a completely innocent witness allowing one’s mind to be Guided as part of the One Action of Life or Reality. There's nothing to blame for this or that, nothing to fight, no guilt, no doubt, and nothing to condemn. When one is innocent there's no force, there's no striving, there's no effort, and there's no thought. No longer pushing through life, self-directing, one is not shoved internally because there is no me to be shoved. This is surrender. See any hindrances to this. Pay attention to wanting to get a reward for someone or something, or from avoidance of a situation in exposure of a healing fact. This will block the unconscious miracle instruction leading to effortless impeccable speech and precision healing action and doing, which includes the animation of the body, or real free-will and co-manifestation of a healing dream. One doesn’t want to block correction or joy. This blocking is a refusing to allow bars to be removed from one’s prison cell and our brothers. It's important to see and remember that one can't know what to say or do or what problem one’s cooperation is needed for in any situation, or what it is meant to solve, so it is pointless to wonder, which is just more egoic thought.
One doesn’t have to live a life of wondering when one can live a life of certainty. This may seem contradictory but in the not knowing, one will always know what to say or do, as it happens though the one Self, without being concerned or attached to any outcome. As one is learning, if fear or doubt arises, one can uncover the hoax. One knows the acronym for fear? Just a little willingness will get one through the outside ring of fear. In that willingness one will find a little faith to ask to understand forgiveness and find it there supported by one’s faith. God will join one there, one ends up more faithful on the other side. No matter what happens one will discover, it's the best possible outcome. So don't worry. See if it feels good not to judge what is happening. Be willing to let go of what one never had and allow oneself the opportunity to have the illusion of giving up the illusion of judgment and deciding what to say or do. Simply decide to allow Him to decide for the one us who is all of us.
If one finds one is still troubled, remember to forgive One Self. There is no need to feel guilty ever or blame anyone or anything. Ask oneself would I condemn my brother or myself for this if it keeps one in hell? This thought will come if one is still. Then hear the message to live in the Golden Rule. Look inside to see One’s holiness and recognize it as the world One sees and treat One Self accordingly. Do this and Trust God, who will never fail the One, for He's forever consistent. Only the trusting can be truly honest, for they know and see the value of Consistent Honesty, and are one with it. Stay open-minded. Remember open-minded means not having a private mind or closing the mind with a grievance. There's only One Mind and One Will who holds no grievances. Don't be caught in the lie privacy is safety. Don't live in fixed opinions or conclusions. Watch one’s body language and open one’s heart. Do this by being present and feeling the body throughout. The Power of Awareness will do this for oneself as your stand as Awareness as your Self. No matter what is happening be willing to look at the situation unemotionally and stop thinking and start looking inward. Be willing to join in communion with other souls and God by not holding on to the private thoughts. Remember a change of mind means placing it under the Atonement. It is God alone that orders One’s thought. It is always guilt that causes thought disorder. Therefore, forgiveness is one’s only the Answer. So "Be still and do nothing, and let forgiveness tell you what to do", Thank you Jesus.
Below are a few passages direct from our teacher. Let him speak to the real YOU
Much love,
Isaiah Kenny
As the teacher of God advances in his training, he learns one lesson with increasing thoroughness. ²He does not make his own decisions; he asks his Teacher for His answer, and it is this he follows as his guide for action. ³This becomes easier and easier, as the teacher of God learns to give up his own judgment. ⁴The giving up of judgment, the obvious prerequisite for hearing God’s Voice, is usually a fairly slow process, not because it is difficult, but because it is apt to be perceived as personally insulting. ⁵The world’s training is directed toward achieving a goal in direct opposition to that of our curriculum. ⁶The world trains for reliance on one’s judgment as the criterion for maturity and strength. ⁷Our curriculum trains for the relinquishment of judgment as the necessary condition of salvation. (https://acim.org/acim/en/s/824#2:1-7 | M-9.2:1-7)
¹⁰Only the Word of God has any meaning, because it symbolizes that which has no human symbols at all. ¹¹The Holy Spirit alone understands what this Word stands for. Is the teacher of God, then, to avoid the use of words in his teaching? ²No, indeed! ³There are many who must be reached through words, being as yet unable to hear in silence. ⁴The teacher of God must, however, learn to use words in a new way. ⁵Gradually, he learns how to let his words be chosen for him by ceasing to decide for himself what he will say. ⁶This process is merely a special case of the lesson in the workbook that says, “I will step back and let Him lead the way.” ⁷The teacher of God accepts the words which are offered him, and gives as he receives. ⁸He does not control the direction of his speaking. ⁹He listens and hears and speaks.
A major hindrance in this aspect of his learning is the teacher of God’s fear about the validity of what he hears. ²And what he hears may indeed be quite startling. ³It may also seem to be quite irrelevant to the presented problem as he perceives it, and may, in fact, confront the teacher with a situation that appears to be very embarrassing to him. ⁴All these are judgments that have no value. ⁵They are his own, coming from a shabby self-perception which he would leave behind. ⁶Judge not the words that come to you, but offer them in confidence. ⁷They are far wiser than your own. ⁸God’s teachers have God’s Word behind their symbols. ⁹And He Himself gives to the words they use the power of His Spirit, raising them from meaningless symbols to the Call of Heaven itself.
